the new mummy finally

hi guys, sorry for the very late update, know i haven been posting anything since the last post and i know you guys miss me just like i miss you too! haha baby calix is finally out 6 weeks ago! you can see him in my facebook account(that is if you have added me in facebook!) so far he's been quite ok except that he is also a short-tempered person like me, and mischievous like me too!

i have started work as of today(12 aug 2009) as i just fixed my first appointment today with one of my existing client, for review and catch-up time. just to update you guys, my birthday was yesterday, hehe so you all cannot say i lazy cuz i start work immediately right after my birthday! keke but also partially bcuz im going broke soon after months of no production and maternity leaves!

im feeling excited as well as lost in the midst of starting work now, might be bcuz its been a while since i last worked and now im like kinda lost dunno where to begin with, but no worries i have already privatised my home line so that i can do cold calling at home while looking after calix baby too. good for me.

feeling excited cuz im going to start doing what i have always like doing most-meeting ppl and closing cases. i get the high each time when i close a new case be it with someone new or existing client. it always refreshes me and gives me a confidence boost when i get to close a new case! i hope you guys also feel the same way too!

lately i chatted with one of our guys, don't wanna name who huh but the person should know 'itself'! keke cannot say is a 'him' or 'her' ma so name it 'itself'! the person has been feeling low lately and hence i feel that we should all give one another words of encouragement be it if you're really performing well now or not... we all deserve a kick at our butts during the low times.

seeing baby calix gives me a sense of motivation to work hard but at the same time, he also give me a wanting to spend more precious and quality time with him when i'm back home from work. i feel more homely now than ever, bcuz i know someone's waiting for me back at home! though he can be very naughty at times, but he never fails to put a smile on my cute face. hehe

hope you guys also can find a source of motivation to spur yourself on! shall end here, will be back this friday for the meeting, see you guys this friday then! cheers!

pregnant mummy very lazy!

hello all, if you guys happen to read my blog then i must apologize liao cuz recently i never update my blog keke but don't worry, i never forget about all of you! although i'm in my maternity leave right now, i still think of you guys everytime one hor!!!

my most recent update, i might need to do a c-section instead of natural birth cuz my naughty little boy shifts his head sideways instead of downwards! this i can only confirm like next weekend, if its a c-section, it will be on the first few days of july!

time really flies cuz its only about another month and a half before i am due and its really fast! fast to me la cuz i finally went through the whole 9 months of pregnancy and its drawing to an end in a month's time...

i must say its a wonderful experience for me, for all the women, when its your time or rather turn, must learn to enjoy this 9 months, really fulfilling cuz you no longer feel your by yourself, there's a new life in you and a whole new responsibility in the coming future for yourself and your baby.

my world was almost upside down initially when i have him, but it gradually becomes better as the pregnancy goes on, and of course i miss those days when i WAS slim and slender, always wearing XS size clothings and high heels with no signs of tummy at all!

but those days are over... haha but i still feel happy having gone through it now i'm no longer waist 24, no longer can wear my skinny jeans, no longer can sashay in my heels, no more clubbings at st james on friday nights, haha thats a lot of singlehood privileges taken away from me, but its worth it, for baby calix its worth it! hehe

i still remember i used to drink and smoke a lot before i was pregnant, the typical BUT cute ah lian you see on the streets hahaha but now, i'm like the guai guai pregnant mummy, who watches everything she takes in just in case baby calix gets the wrong nutrients! keke

ok enough about my pregnancy, i will be back to join you guys for work after my confinement which is about mid to late august! so meanwhile, gambate and jiayou for all of you who knows what you want in this family! there will definitely be down times in this career, but who says every job will be smooth?

like what john always say, tough times don't last, only tough men do! thats what i have been holding on to which is so true for the past 3-4 years of my career here in prudential. and i hope all of you be it new or old birds will hold on to this saying too! its the only magical words that will sustain you and your dreams here!

ok now the pregnant mummy has to play mahjong again.... by the way, i was also playing mahjong yesterday! hahaha good for baby calix's brains! kekeke bye bye all! have a fruitful journey with prudential and our family!

The World is in a chaos

What a contradicting title for my very first entry! But after reading today's Straits Times, i feel that my title should be what is mentioned above!

Today's paper emphasize lots about the Swine Flu and the precautions that the entire world is taking. It also tells us what are the symptoms like for this epidemic and how serious it can get. Whats worst, this virus, known as H1N1 is transmittable from human-to-human without any presence of any symptoms which is reportedly worst than Sars! For Sars, the virus only spreads when there's presence of fever, but for this Swine Flu, it can spread even before any symptoms present!

Major parts of America has been affected as well as some parts in Europe. We should be well prepared and take precautions so as to prevent any possibility of this widespread epidemic!

After reading on so much articles relating to this Swine Flu, then came another worrying news on the following page, the issue on global warming and the constant climate change.

Don't you agree the recent weather has gone crazy?!? It can be so HOT today and yet it rains the next! Isn't this period now supposed to be summer? Why will it rain? And why does the summer each year gets hotter and hotter?!?

Maybe its just me, cuz a pregnant woman's body temperature tends to be on the higher side! Anyway, since this is my first entry can i put a photo of my childhood to share with you guys! hehehe wish granted!
